Tial and jgs are completely different.

Didn't say that.

As long as the part(s) are working go to go.
We have used jgs stuff on lots of builds.
Only had one customer come back with this type of problem.

I'm having the same issue, I'm gonna replace the spring with a softer one and see if that helps

I've taken the spring out and still boost to 15 psi I got on it today in 82 degree heat and boost went to 10 psi with the spring in not sure what els I can do I think I might go with the percsion pw66mm wastegate and call it good what do u guys think

Damn thats pretty scarey. Good thing you have a boost gauge so you can back off when you see it climb. ive never had a problem with my 38mm tial.

I had boost spikes also when the wastegate was located on the crossover so i decided to move it right on the 90 degree elbow before the turbo, solved my problem... My take on this is the waste gate needs to be closer to the turbo which should eliminate some of the back pressure, it will let the excess exhaust out before it spikes the boost.... Has worked good for me

Probably works better there because of the placement giving it more flow ^^

I would think this would be the most efficient location for the gate due to its location being downstream of both banks relative to the gate being in the crossover.
