Default Junk yard turbo-anygood??

"Garrett Turbocharger.
.58 a/r on the compressor and .90 a/r on the turbine. The compressor wheel is 61mm and has NO shaft play. Uses a t3/t4 flange."

How would this do on a 6.0L...not shooting for records, low boost is cool, just want my project to have a turbo.
thanks

It would probable add some zing to your setup, if that's all your after . There might be better, more suitable turbos, but if the price is right, I'd run it.

I think its a T4.
What would be "wrong" with this size??? what would the spool and such be good/bad?? would I be out of the map, making it a big heat pump???
The guy wants $200...

Can you post a picture of the side of the turbo. It almost looks like a VNT turbo off of a 6.0 Powerstroke which would be garbage for any non 6.0 PSD application.

Yep, thats what it is- a 6.0 PSD turbo. It could work, but your have to find a way to control the VNT. Basically it is more trouble than its worth.
