Default Just added a 160 degree stat on a 07 silverado fan question?

My truck runs 175 180 degrees.i did alot of reading on posts with thermostats from this site.my question is when r u guys turning the fans on and off?if your running my temperatures.my friend tunes my truck with hp tuners we set fans lower once but now that im running cooler temps they should come on sooner.can they be set lower w new style silverado,thot he said no!!!im new to this site also great site!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive got my fans coming on @ 182 & going off @ 180.. With the 160 stat.

Mine are set to 182 on and 178 off with a 160 stat.

I wont drive my truck in winter so i wont change it!
