Thanks Matt ! ... its the same setup as yours hero !.. I was able to see 12psi today and tons of tire smoke On a side note... someone was watching out for me and when i got back from driving it this morning and had the hood open on the phone My Permacool Electric Fan controler burst into flames on the core support !!!!!!!! I was able to put the fire out pretty quick but if the hood would have been down there is No way i would have been so lucky ................. still getting some oil smoke from the turbo with Rex's motor making the bad *** oil pressure and I keep having to play with a restrictor.... But what a way to start a friday!

what compression are you running that stroker at?

 

motor is 9.25:1 as good as my 10psi turbo 5.3 after all my conversion on the motor alone... a bit stronger even with all the things working against it.... cam,80E,vic jr and 30" tires......

 

....your wastegate is on backwards....

 

I don't even notice that, but you are right The valve face goes toward the turbo.
