Seen half the was taken from my card!!!! This is a good sign!

What gap should I put my tr6 at w the base 6psi tune?
Ordering gauges and shift kit and servos tomorrow. I'll have the truck as ready as possible for when the kit comes in. Should get it installed over a weekend and tuned early the next week.

Sounds like it will be a fun DD, but as somebody said before, save for a tranny, my 4L60 with a vette servo and a shift kit gave up on me three days after I installed my supercharger.....

tranny will be ok if you dont beat on it, i towed 500 miles pulling 7500lb enclosed, up 5-8% grades, trans had no problem, pulled in 3rd most of the time, this also was a yukon on 23inch rims with a 3.73 gear, 5.3.

probably towed 2k miles so far with the turbo, trans is perfect. keep the temp under 200 and youll be ok

Seems like a crap shot on the 4L60, mine lasted 20,000 miles on 330 N/A rwhp, but crapped itself after 100 miles of 460 supercharged rwhp. I've had a 40K cooler on mine from day one. However, I was not easy on it, LOL, its not in my nature, if its there, I will use it. Maybe if you baby it, it will last.

I beat the hell out of mine and my 60 with an hd2 shift kit and billet servos lasted less than 3 weeks. I swapped out to a built 80 and never looked back. I put 50k hard boosted miles on it and never had an issue out of the tranny.

I cant understand the point of having power (turbo) if your not goin to beat up on it. I ran the crap out of mine and kept breaking transmissions. i towed alot and had it to the floor alot.

If you ever have any transmission trouble just weigh your options on a built 60E or a 80E.

good luck with your new found power
i just sent some money for my new turbo setup

rick shipped it!!! should be here in a few days

waitin in my garage =

5/8 hose
new oil
new plugs
gauges
one way valve ( no crankcase pressure )

I dont need a boost controller right away right? I want to run the base psi 5 or 6 whatever it is until i can get it to my tuner. He said get it running and make sure nothing leaks and DO NOT BOOST IT AT ALL until he gets it. he has a nasty NA tune on it now. Ill have him tune it one low boost, till Im ready to turn it up.

Does the WG come with the 6psi spring in it?

Do I need anything else to install the kit?

Everyone here in buffalo is waiting for this thing!
