Ok either im blind or im stupid, but I saw you have an 09 1500 4x4 but didnt see what engine you have in it?

And to answer your last question, YES, wrap the log if you can. I ordered my kit with the manifold, down pipe, and crossover prewrapped from Kyle.

5.3 flex fuel motor bone stock

What's the key to getting the oil dip stick outta the block so I can keep moving here. Wtf?

I was prying and pulling it pretty good and nothing. I sprayed it again w pb blaster and called it a night. The pass manifold is unbolted and ready but I can't get the dip stick out.

I'll see if the local parts store has wrap. If they don't then I'll have to deal w it.

I believe there is one bolt that holds it steady otherwise just has an oring that helps seal it up... not positive though, been awhile since ive messed with that.

Yes one 15mm that bolts it to the head. And there's nothing where the tube goes into the motor but it's not moving! Arrrrggggg. Hahaha. Stupid crap like this always happens to me

O ring on the dipstick is probably stuck in the block. Try twisting the tube if you can and keep working at it.

I'm wrapping the cross over, dp, and manifold. Takes some time but it's coming out nice.
They say 24 hour cure??? Damnit

When these are baking in the sun I'll start w the gauges, wiring, heater hose, oil pan.

for the dipstick tube, there is another bolt about halfway down. Its one of the trans bellhousing bolts. Just have to loosen it and the dipstick will be free. at least on mine
