Over a year!!!! Wtf. Want me to come install it? Lol

Waiting in bov v band clamp then I can drive it around. Let it idle for 20 min. No leaks. Everything seems fine.

Can one of u txt me so I can send u pics to host for me?

FYI

Just talked to Darin at Race Part Soultion ( Percision WG and BOV ) about the v band that Rick ordered me for the BOV and I should have it Thursday. He said for my truck with 17 inches of vac at idle I should cut the stiff spring in half so the valve opens any time it has any positive pressure and I let off the throttle. He has a smiliar build and said he had to do that because when he just eased into the throttle to anything around 5 psi, the bov didn't open. It would only open when he got up to ~7 psi. He cut it and re installed and now it opens with any positive pressure. Trucks like ours have ~17 inches of vacuum and dont need a stiff spring. Cars with ~23 at idle would use the stiff spring. The BOV comes with a weak spring too but he said that is for supercharged motors and motors that have big cams with low vacuum.

i'm gonna run it as is for now, to see if it opens. If not ill toss the weak spring it and test, then cut the stiff one down 3/4 and try it again, then if need be cut it another 1/4. Trial and error

check list

Tonight :
I'll finish up the gauges and pod. I had to pull them out to paint the black pod the "color matching" interior paint. My interior is close to beige. Hope it looks good otherwise ill strip it back to black and deal with it.
Re torque everything
Install wideband in dp
Install turbo blanket
Install fenders and wheels
Get it on the ground

Tomorrow-
Connect dp to exhaust. ( stock 3in mid pipe and flowmaster 40 series )

Thursday-
V band should come in
Install bov and finally really be able to drive it around

Sunday -
Change the oil

Tuesday-
New Era dyno tune for 4psi

Wednesday-
Heaters

I'll get pics and vids up sometime too but you guys gotta relate, i'd rather be wrenching than sitting at my pc loading pictures.

as far as a WG dump... what do you guys think of this? Mine is a 49mm, this should work fine and bolt right up right?
