Just ordered my new Procharger P-1sc
Just ordered my Procharger P-1sc kit for my 08 GMC Sierra. I should have it installed and customed tuned by the end of next week. I'll post some pictures as soon as I'm done.
Are any of you running a similar setup. My truck is basically stock except I'll being runnig 8-9lbs of boost and a flowmaster super 44 catbak. What kind of 1/25 mile times are you seeing? Anybody have any guesses?

I basically cut a full second off my 1/8th times with the P1. Don't use that FMU though, go with bigger injectors and tune. You'll love the power but its addictive and you'll want more!

You wont notice anything switching to injectors and tune, atleast I didn't. You should drop you 1/4 miles times almost 2 sec. You will also want atleast a 3000 stall to make it run like it should. I think prochargers should all come with a stall.
I agree with above, it addictive and you'll want more! Thats why I switched to a turbo, LOL!! J/K it should be fine for a while.

I'm installing 42# injectors and colder plugs. Its getting dyno tuned minutes after the blower gets installed. I'll post the print off of the final numbers.
I am planning on a stall later. Can't afford it now but hopefully soon. I know everyone on here likes yank stalls but what about fuddle? Any body had any luck with those?
Also, what kind of gauges are you guys running? I know that I am putting in a boost/vacuum gauge and a fuel pressure gauge. My truck already has a tranny temp gauge built in. Do I need a pyrometer? Brands? thanks

you do not need a pyrometer...if you have to have one, you can buy mine...I don't even have it hooked up any longer...just mounted in-cab and the probe tucked up in the engine bay...
throw a set of NGK TR6's in it...
get a TB converter for $100-$125...I picked up 0.5 sec in the 1/4 with one...
shift kit and servo/pin upgrades will help as well...

Dude do your self a favor and scrap up enough change to put you a stall in, at least a 3000-3200 and you will love the Procharger it will put it right in its power band. Plus thats good you are ditching the FMU. You should make around 400 rwhp. Mine made 425 rwhp on 5.3L, P1-SC 9lbs., Longtubes, Flowmasters, 38inj. & custom tune, 2600 stall.
Should be around 550rwhp with the new set-up when I get finished...

For you guys with the 3k stalls. How do they affect the drivability of the truck? I have heard that a stall will kill your mpg’s. How’s your around town driving?
