Hey i have a question. Say you have long tubes, is your kit fit for the stock headers or do you have a setup for the longtubes? or would that just be something the installer would take care of?

My setup uses the stock manifold on the drivers side and my custom manifold on the passanger side. Headers are not needed or help full with a turbo setup.

I think thats one unique thing about Kyle's kit. His thick pipe manifold seems like it will keep heat in better than the tube ones. I have no data to prove it though.

Just for example though, STS guys have proven that the tubing (like in headers) hurts their turbo spool time. They always keep the stock manifolds.

(Made a correction in the quote too Kyle)

Two questions. Will this kit work with a Vortec 454? And if so, will the intercooler fit behind the grille of a 1996 suburban?

If that is the case, does trick have anything that would fit a big block chevy? or are there only kits available for small blocks?
