Yes and yes

Oil drain on a high-mount front turbo is gravity drain.

Crossover clears the front driveshaft and everything just fine Kyle has his kit on his truck and mine, both are 4wd.

Nice simple kit for a good price. Props on using the mild steel over the stainless. As well as the MIG welding. Stainless is over priced and over rated with a turbo system IMO. And who needs pretty TIG welds with 99.9% of the trucks. I haven't seen any trucks on here that were interested in entering into World of Wheels.
Mild steel is much cheaper and more durable with the heat.

I don't have and driving experience yet with his manifold, but I've been drooling over it for about a month now. Granted I haven't used it, but it's still a testament to Kyle's skill and attention to detail.

I love my manifold!

A base kit will have the cross over pipe made from 16 ga aluminized steel, a Turbo manifold built out of HEAVY schd 40 (3/16 thick) steel pipe and weldels, and a 3" aluminized steel down pipe. This base kit is going to be offered at a introductory price of $1500.

Upgrades to this will be a 3 1/2" aluminized steel down pipes for an additional $100.

Also a Tail, or equivalent waste gate and flanges can be added for an additional $300.

The base kit will not have provisions for a waste gate since there are too many different type and mounting possibility's. The down pipe will terminate just under the body and will need to have connections made to attach it you your tail pipes.

Here is some pictures of pipes I have built and how the system is laid out.

3 1/2 down pipe (cut out and waste gate are not included in the 3 1/2 down pipe or base price)

I will post some pics of the actual kit pipes in a few days
Let me know if you have any question about anything.

Kyle
Looks good! How much different was the setup you built for your Dad's early 70's pickup? Will the same log fit?

The log should fit, but I don't think the down pipe would and the cross over wouldn't clear the front drive shaft. The heater box would be in the way. The turbo sits up a lot higher with this manifold. His was the first one I built.

The first pic is of the 3 1/2 down pipe. plenty of clearance. The manifold it a little close to the hose in one spot, but we just put a little header wrap on it and it's fine.
