Default KBRacing on a 05 2500HD with 35's

Well awhile back Kyle had a sale and I picked up one of his turbo kits with a MP70mm. I started the swap on my 05 2500HD with 6" lift and 315/75/16 BFG knockoffs. I had to make alot of alterations as my truck isn't as easy to swap in the intercooler and cold side 3" intercooled pipe runs through the core support ala duramax style.. I've also made sure that any change to the truck was the way I wanted it. (pcm and battery remount) The truck has been running on Motron 60's and 2Bar tune for a couple of months in preperation. enjoy the pics. Exhaust is the 3" downpipe to a 3"-4" adaptor, then 22" of 4" feeding a stock Duramax muffler for the moment. I haven't had a chance to finish the last minute stuff yet, like the wastegate connection still needs to be welded to the downpipe.

I had to reuse some of the "Bubba" true dual exhaust to clear the driveshaft, so thats not a happy thing for me.

That is a nice set-up.

I hear a turbo'd 6.0 has excellent power for the size of the truck. Do you find that to be true.

Also did your mpg go up a bit?

Not yet, my to do list is as follows, as soon as my two week work trip to chicago is over
1.) Finish mounting Hydroboost/power steering cooler
2.) Weld wastegate flange to downpipe.
3.) Replace snap in IAT (ala 98 Camaro) with weld in IAT
4.) Fuel pump swap
5.) Reinforce the coolant tank/passenger fender mount and bolt in e-fans
6.) Do a trans service on my 4l80
7.) tune the **** outta it for around 8lbs of boost

Also I got a pm on the pcm mount, its actually welded into the battery tray and is now more solid than stock. Also the Manifold Kyle made is actually nitroplated now.
