4.8 shortblock from 2010 truck
Stock 853's
Ls7 lifters
Copper coated ls9 gaskets
Kmj studs
ARP Rod bolts
Holley Hi Ram
Stock TB
BTR .660's
218/218 112* camshaft
Boost leash boost controller W/C02
Holley HP ECU

Still debating on putting good rods and pistons in a 5.3 and selling this 4.8 or just running it

Drivetrain
Built Th-400 W/ Trans brake
Custom PTC Converter
Moser 9" Full spool & 3.70 Gear

Suspension
TRZ anti roll bar
TRZ double adjustable uppers and lowers
Strange double adjustable shocks


Fuel system

Magnafuel 4303
-10 feed/return
Billet atomizer 225's


Turbo kit
OBX LS Turbo Headers
2.25" Crossover
S475 83mm turbine
X2 XOS Power 44mm wastegates
X2 RPS BOV
Frozen boost 2000hp Type 12
Chiseled 7Gal tank with Rule 2000 pump

KBracing will be doing the turbo kit, turbo will go in the grill and the intercooler will go wherever it fits best. I will post more pics as progress is made.

Thats a lot of drivetrain for a 4.8...have a particular goal in mind?

5.30's... its an 1/8 only car. ive seen several gen3 motors run 5.5x's with relatively weak 60's and i plant to be in the .20's for that ET Goal. I honestly dont think it will be an issue with the gen4 4.8

This will also be on a radial. Radials are faster as long as you have the suspension for them.

Sweet project! I thought the 853's had issues sealing with the LS9 gaskets though? Or was it a different older casting #?

im not sure... i am likely going to runn 243 or 799 heads. I copy and pasted this from ls1tech when i planned it a few months ago and a few things have changed lol.

Oh another thing. I run the 4303 as my secondary pump in my Vette. I'd suggest at min a 40A relay, 8ga wire and a bigger auto style fuse holder to keep it happy.
