Vinci sounds nice but the price is way too much for me. Think I'll go the lingenfelter route. Thanks

I used the stock pump and it kept IAT's lower all the time. I was able to add 5 or so degrees of timing at WOT and that gave me several more hp on the dyno. Im thinking 20 rwhp or so.

I had the Fluidyne Ford lightning heat exchanger with two 7" fans behind my bumper on my SSS with a Maggie..I also had a 1 gal fuel cell used as a ice box in the orig battery location ..with ice I would see 5-10 degrees below ambient..

Can you please tell me what your setup is? Pulley size, IATs?

As already suggested you can double up your XRs, add fans, add methanol/water injection. A larger or increased XR surface does not keep IAT's down but slows the increase in temp and allows for a faster recovery.
At least this is my personal experience. I use the CTS-V HXR from Magnuson, it's 28x14x1 iirc?

Bill, I've been checkin this thread out & the other 2 or 3 floatin around. IDK if u saw my post in my FI thread, "Cat...", but that CTS-V isn't cheap. Not as cheap as I wanted it to be.

Think it'd be less $ if I went thru Rick? Cause what Maggie direct wants is crazy!

PM sent.

anyone ever look at the nascar, imca coolers and radiators? these are usually thicker but very nice c&r coolers. even if you use the core only and or have to modify the end tanks these things are about 800 new and you can get them for a little over a 100 bucks. just a thought if you got the room
