Default Lc-1 wideband haters

Just ordered a AEM today and I can't wait to get this damn LC-1 out of my truck. I wanted to see how many others have had issues and hope to steer people away from this damn thing. Mine has ate 10-12 sensors in 3 years, always needed recalbrations. I have tried grounding from different points, engine block, direct to battery, doesn't matter. It was located about 8" off the down pipe of the turbo, 12 o'clock position.

I hope the AEM will be a better choice. I had a Ngk wideband on my talon for 3 years, never had a sensor fail, worked like a champ. However I need a gauge style mount for the truck so I went AEM based on locals feedback.

My lc-1 was a pile of ****. Damn thing wouldn't work every other time I had the truck on basically and had to shut the truck down and restart it to get the wideband working again.

Have the NGK wideband now and it works perfect except for the ridiculous square box display.

I have the AEM unit now and I love it. Hasn't given me a single issue and it's nice because it can display lambda instead of AFR, and it can output lambda vs. voltage on 0-5V. You can also adjust the output voltage scale and even use it as a narrowband. Only downside I've seen is that it's a little too bright at night. It autodims so there is no way to adjust it.

My lc1 has started acting up, and is doing the same thing. Its been fine for about a year until I moved it for my turbo. Did you ever find a remedy for this problem?

I have had good luck with the innovate MTX-L wideband. Just the initial calibration and says once a year(I think) to recalibrate for boosted applications. Has inputs/outputs for logging too.
