leaking oil with STS

Default leaking oil with STS

I just got my truck running for the first time lastnight and it seems to be spraying oil all over in my engine compartment and it also is makeing a little bit of a knocking noise. we are only running 5 lbs of boost and everything else seems to be working fine.. anyone tell me what could be going wrong here...?

Where exactly is all this oil coming from???

it looks to be comming from the filler elbow on the valve cover... and why is my motor ticking? its not a knock but a ticking sound..is this normal?

those filler necks are just plastic and if there is tension on the return hose, it will pull the filler next out of the socket...

Make sure it is not coming from your dipstick tube-- there is a gromet on the dipstick itself, and if the dipstick is firmly seated, and you still blow it loose, the PCV pump is not installed correctly (probably not getting good ground or the hoses are reversed).
