Let's see if a TVS 1900 can handle a 408!
I have been patiently waiting for the manifold and TVS 2300 to run my new
LS2 and L92 heads. My patience has run out so I am going to build my 408 with ported LS2 heads and the already released 1900. I intend to run all forged, eagle crank, arias pistons and rods, etc.. My engine builder, Racing Engine Development in Colorado intends to document the whole build, including dyno. Its all going into my 03 Denali PU with a built 4L65. We intend to run as much boost as pump gas will allow, hopefully around 14psi. All parts will be in next week. I'll keep you guys informed. We don't think 700hp will be a problem, lets see how close to 800hp we can get before we have to add some meth.

Good luck with that. Should be interesting to see your results. Even better if the track numbers match your dyno numbers. I expect that if you spin the daylights out of it you'll make over 10psi and some decent numbers out of it. I'm still waiting for good track times out of one of the overspun units...

The block is in, stroker kit and heads should arrive tomorrow and hopefully the 1900 on Friday. My builder is going to take a bunch a pictures of the build and I will film the flywheel dyno when its finished. I'll keep you posted. Don't know if I'll run it on the track but we might take it to Bandimere raceway in Denver if things work out. Thanks for the encouragement, hopefully as the guinea pig we will all learn a little more about the potential of the TVS units.
