I have a 03 stock bottom 4.8l with only a small cam. I did change the heads to the newer 799s but they are stock as well. Lowered my cr just a bit. I plan to push this motor till it pops which i hope can handle 20psi daily and a bit more at the track on race gas

Stop discussing stock bottom end guys and get back to what this post should really be about. FACTS ! People please start posting your engine size , Boost and what size Turbo. Just saying you run 15psi means nothing. There is a big dif. if you compare 17psi from a 70mm & a 88mm.

People were clearly confused as to what one considered "bottom end" so discussing it was the only way to determine what the OP considered a stock bottom end so people could correctly answer his post. Can't post "FACTS" if everyone has a different view to the question now could they.

STOCK BOTTOM END= THE WAY THE SHORTBLOCK COMES FROM THE FACTORY. PERIOD. Anyone that thinks something different is a retard ! If guys want to argue or discuss anything different then open another thread. I hate reading 5 pages of something that has noting to do with the original question or post.

Now we're talking. I'll have my # up this weekend after taking my trick stage 3 turbo truck to the track for the first time. I'm set at 7 psi with my 76mm on 93 octane. I'll see if I can turn it up with the help of a little Meth. I'll let you guys know.
