so, are you saying your silverado ss weighs 6230lbs? interesting. and it gtechs at 12.3 with just the turbo and meth? I just want to clarify. also, any dyno numbers?

Its easy, just cut 2.5" out of the IC and have it tig welded back together. The mounts and everything will work.

Yes 6230 soaking wet as it sits in my shop right now with stereo equip and tool tote in the bed (and my fat ***) It has ran as fast as 12.68 @ Bandimere if you'd like to see the slip I'm sure I can dig it up. I'm not a real believer in the gtech other than a comparison tool which I was using during the tuning

ok, good info. that's one heavy *** 1/2 ton. My crew cab pictured below has a race weight of 6140lbs. that's with the tailgate and spare removed. So this is just proof that the livernois kit can make for a pretty fast truck. Faster than my totally maxed out whipple. Nice!!!

i found this site for curb weights. silverado ss 5190lbs. I swear I'm not being a dick, but, 1000lbs makes a HUGE difference at the track. If it went 12.68 and weighs 5200lbs or 6200lbs, there would be a gigantic power difference.

I thats whats what I figured 5500 to maybe 5700 lbs the kit added maybe 120 lbs. The stereo is worth 75 to 90 lbs the tool tote is the killer like 250-275 lbs. I use it for service calls. I was pissed to say the least.. The kit does work very well and I couldn't be more pleased with the tech support I recieved from Livernois. As for Quick Silverado and compairing a Livernois kit with a STS I think that a steady cruise boost signal would be completely different due to the placement of the turbos..I will double check that figure but I think that at 75 mph 4 psi is about normal (dont forget my truck is awd and could have more parasitic drag than a 2wd truck) food for thought

Damn,if you are in boost that much I would hate to pay the gas bill on that thing. My truck weighs in around 5200-5300 for daily use and it has a 4l80e. Its not a light weight either. That much boost at 75 does not seem right. A couple of guys have mentioned that they saw 2-3 psi when towing trailers.

ok, so there's the extra weight. very impressive numbers. now get rid of all that extra weight and see what it will really do.
