Do not port or attempt to modify the Maggy.

Personally I don't know why you'd want to buy the loudest supercharger, I'd prefer it made the power where I wanted it and it be heard only when I want it to be heard. Actually, I prefer you hear my tail pipe as it passes by your window.

F3r procharger would be the loudest, but that's overkill on a 6.0. I would go D1sc procharged. With blower cam, bolt-ons, and enough fueling, you'll be over 600rwhp on 10psi or so.

edit: Saw you were looking for only 450rwhp...get you a radix.

I’m just saying that porting the eatons works with the Ford guys, why can’t it work with the radix? If I’m wrong please let me know but why can’t a authorized eaton re-manufacture like Stiegemeier (non-sponsor but google them) port a radix? They do it for the Ford guys and get huge gains of 75+ hp and a louder supercharger sound?

because the radix is a newer generation head unit from the lightning head unit and is MUCH more efficient than the lightning unit. im betting that the radix has less material where it is needed for porting

yeah the gains would be zilch on the 112 newest generation.

I heard 03sieraslt's pulling away, not getting into it and it sound pretty kick ***. Like a small turbo, spooling just to go up an incline. Getting on it, the radix is pretty damn loud if you didn't foam your fender and have large open air intake on it (filter).

Here is kysilverado at 3:21 (1:30 left) in the video...

Here is a version of 2 radix trucks from behind. I have heard both trucks coming at you and flying by. There is NO mistaking the radix. But from behind....ALL EXHAUST.

If you want loud then I would suggest a ProCharger D-1 or if you want really loud a old Vortech A-Trim.

A twin screw with an air/air intercooler is the loudest that I have heard. It is quiet at idle, but after that it was much louder than my Flowmaster dual 40" exhaust that I had at the time. You could hear the whine from several blocks away when you we driving hard.

To make a blower loud,(er) use a cog system. Cog drivers make a whine noise even at idle and screem once you put your foot into it.
If its too loud then you start drill a few small holes in the pulleys and noise will change.
The whine is from the air getting squeezed between the cog pulley and the belt.
I donot think anyone builds a cog system for a maggie, so you will need to convert to something else.

Because Authorized or not Steigmeir has no clue when it comes to port timing and air flow.
The Magnuson rotor housing is already maximized for air flow and port timing and seal time. When you see the EATON superchargers of today, you will see allot of Magnuson's engineering in them. Trust me, there is NOTHING left on the table with a Magnuson supercharger.

Authorization does not entitle the authorized to infinite knowledge, that must be earned.
