LQ-9 with 243 s and a Maggie 112 possible?????
I've decided to go with a set of 243 s on my lq9 With the following mods done already: Dynatech LT with cats, Gibson cat back, flexalite 282 twin fans , Trickflow UD pully W/ over for alt, P&P BBK 80mm TB, taylor 409 wires, yank2600 stall,FLT lvl 5 4l65,410 gears W/ eaton posi,K&N intake and Nelson tune.
The qeustion is if I can run something like a Maggie 112 with low boost around 5-6 psi ???? I don't want to do the maggie if it will kill the dependability of the engine. It's a daily driver and doesn't get beat on I just like to get on it from hear to there. At the time of the head swap I will be doing a little cam like a 212/218 w/5 deg adv..
So to make a long story short could I run a maggie at low boost????
