Default LQ9+Turbo=?RWHP?RWTQ?

Looking at stepping into another VHO and am interested in putting a front mount Trick kit on it. With the engine stock, what hp/tq levels would this set-up be at ?

I did do a search but didn't locate anything.

They talk about a 120 HP gain. You can look at the dyno graph Slohawk just did with his Avalanche....I think that was right around 300 Rear wheel with a 5.3

I would think you would be a little better than that with the 6.0. But I am just talking....go ahead and do it and then post something up, then we will all have the info!!

I have the Trick kit on order just waiting for it to get hot coated but it is going on a 5.3 also.

Here is what my 5.3L did that had a small Cam.It is before/after but has an intercooler.This was done at the basic 7lbs of boost and straight 93 octain.Also off the street.

I had an 04' VHO and it put down 291 RWHP and 310 RWTQ completely stock including the air filter with 13K miles on the odo.

Looks like a pretty nice gain @ 7psi. I will also need to run an IC and will more than likely add meth as I live in Arizona.

Glad to see your interested in our products. Yea the IC will be must, in Arizona, meth will not be far behind. It really depends on your goals. IF keeping the bost down you could run just IC or just meth. That is what is so nice about turbos. You can install one in a weekend, and later when you want more power, turn up the boost.
Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

* We are almost finished with our water/air intercooler set up. Roadtesting will be a mood point soon, we are starting to cool off here in TX. But we are hoping we can maintain just above ambient air, and when you want to race just add ICE for that really cold air temps. . Time will tell.

I still haven't Dyno'd mine with the turbo, but I dropped my 1/4 mi ET's 3.8 seconds.

Stock at my altitude the Truck runs a 17.5 after the turbo I managed a 13.7

Those are some really impressive numbers! When I dyno'd my 5.3L at 6 psi with meth I only was able to get 390 rwhp. What transmission and what block number did you have was it an LM7 or L33, etc...? If I remember correctly some 5.3L have a different compression ratio than other ones.
Awesome results! Be interesting to compare an STS vs. Trick on same drivetrain.
