boost27, even if LS9 cam is $97.04 on gmpartsdirect.com part#12605527, shippin is probably $50.

even if LS9 cam is extremely similar to the now discontinued GT7, I don't think it's way cheaper. Obtainable GT7's might figure in here. Cam itself, yes. Other parts to make it happen, no. Unless a deal is found.
Charcold-bowtie, said it, y'all are missing some of the point that although the ls9 may be cheaper, its a gen 4 cam, so it will end up costing about the same. I agree.

Gt7 Is virtually identical. A used Gt7 would do fine but why not go with what Stock48 used, an Isky. Its damn sure proven! Or just start from scratch.
