Default LSA blower on LS3

Ok so I've acquired a nearly free LSA take off from a CTSV. Gonna work out the setup with a 2010 Camaro water pump and get all my pulleys right. I'll work on that... but I was curious if anyone has accomplished, tried and failed, pondered, etc. Need some input here, as I am an incredibly indecisive person.
And....... Go.

SO... Got the supercharger sitting on the floor, taunting me haha.

Had to pull the old intake to sell it before I yank the motor for the new one anyway, so just to get an idea for mocking up bracketry, lines, etc i went ahead and set it on top (which i did not get a picture of). I figured the alternator bracket was going to be an issue, and I was right, since the supercharger snout turns toward the driver side. Thinking that the edelbrock bracket relocation deal would work fine, but gonna try and get dimensions on it first to get a better idea. I guess I'm mostly on my own here, as I've seen some chatter, but no one who has ACTUALLY tried it out. I've got some connections in the industry to help me, I've got time to fit it and figure it out, a slightly dangerous level of experience (enough to get me in big trouble) and basically a free blower. Let's go!

Its a great blower... the power numbers it makes are staggering.

I have not seen anyone put one on a truck though. I know the blower spacing is right... but the accessories to use may be a challenge.

I've already got a crate motor crank pulley on ebay, got lucky.

And if it doesnt work, I will sell it, but it's from the LSA crate motor.

Are you going to convert completely to the LSA accessory system? I know the blower belt has the same spacing as our trucks do from the factory, but they have 2 belt systems from what I understand.

man i was looking at it, but I cant find the accessory drive for less than $1000 unless i buy pieces. If I do that, I don't think I can use the same power steering pump off my 2000 setup. I'm actually studying this between GMPP's site and some aftermarket setups comparing them to the stock LSA setup.

I found this instruction setup on the #19303242

My custom pistons from Wiseco are on the way, so should be able to get the block to the machine shop next week and get the assembly of the short block underway. Just got the 0821 casting heads in last week and should be able to get them assembled with the COMP dual spring kit while I'm waiting on the block to come back. Stay tuned for pics of goodies.

Also.. This is gonna become a fairly long thread. Should I have a moderator move this to the Build Thread section?

You could start a new one too. It will be fun to track the progress.
