That's awesome. Your IAT is in between the intercooler brick and the intake ports?

The IAT on the LSA is in the intake runners, after the intercooler brick. My cammed 6.0 with the LSA on it is seeing a max temp increase of about 20F when doing full pulls at the strip. Running around town it is running at ambient. I do, however, use a lower temp T-stat in the engine. I also have an aluminum block with rec port heads, so it wouldn't be a direct comparison to this application.

Also OP, if you need a set of adapters I have the set that came with my blower kit that I didn't need. I have them in the for sale section for 200, but I Just looked them up and they are down to 200 new from boost district. I can let you have them for 150.

8psi on your 408 would only make for 10psi on the 376 engine that blower was designed for, and that ain't the scenario i'm describing.

where the spacers come in handy for heat reduction is when you're spinning that same blower up to make boost in the mid-teens (like a lot of folks started doing) and entering the territory where a larger rotor pack would've been of more benefit than turning 20k+ rpm.

I'm running the same pulley it made 12 psi on with the 5.3. Everything is the same but the 6.7 instead of the 5.3. I can not go any smaller on the pulley without a machined snout and its 10% overdriven. I basically have maxed out the tvs1900 and its still in the 26 degrees over ambient territory.

sorry - i started crossing streams in my explanation. your TVS1900 uses the same rotor pack as the LSA blower that the other guys are asking about. that LSA unit was designed for a 376 (6.2L) engine. your pulley setup that makes 8psi on your 408 would make 10psi on the LSA's original engine & is just a hair higher than OEM specs for those cars.

where those spacers start coming in handy is when guys start overspinning the 1.9L blower to hit 15-20psi on that same 376 (which would be more like 12psi on your 408). 23k rpm creates a lot more heat than 17k. that make more sense?

conversely: swapping to a LS9 unit (2.3L) would make the same low boost as above but be 5psi higher at redline with 10% better blower VE... all while spinning the rotors 3000rpm slower.

I agree, it will start getting hot if I machine snout to accept a smaller pulley. I'm not doing that, a bigger charger will be installed once I dial in my trans and suspension.

What to look out for on used heads? Saw some LS3 PRC ported heads on FB for $1500 with new springs installed and sent to a head shop for inspection and deck trued. Deal or no? They're 3k new from TSP or BTR whichever sells them.

He did say 2 rocker stud holes were helicoiled.

Cracks hehe

I will say you can get LS3 GM pnp heads new for cheaper than that. Do not know differences in flow though
