Default ly6/VVT+Turbo=???

Not much reading about it on either forum. Does it work or more problems than it would be worth at this time. Did read a couple threads using a TVS 1900 and had a couple problems.

I'm kind of curious about this too, but I guess you need to have 4000+ posts to get an answer around here?

Not many people with turbos on a 2500 I imagine!

I posted about issues with mine but, it was a magnacharger install. I think a turbo setup will deal with similiar issues(with wastegate) but, can't be completely sure.

The VVT in cruising conditions will raise the manifold pressure to 80-90kpa . This caused an issue where the bypass valve would start to close which is not good for just trying to cruise down the road.

It is easily programmed out with the popular tuning software suites.

I have not done any good testing with it at WOT. I did some SOTP stuff but, didn't feel much difference.

What do you mean by raise manifold pressure... when you say 80-90 are you talking like -11kpa of vacuum (assuming ambient is 101kpa)?

Yes, still in vacuum but, very close to ambient. I like to call it "Supercruise" because when it does this the vehicle will cruise with what feels like 0 effort.

It is really strange to see 80-90kpa on the scanner when you are just cruising along.
