Default Made up my mind

Im having a turbo built for my truck by the beggining of next year. going to be sweet. talked to a guy tonight who built a truck like mine that beat a z06 vette. how bad *** would that be.

That would be impressive.

In high school I had a warmed up 66 Mustang, and got pulled by 4 dually lengths in a race. That bastard had his bed full of junk, and still got me.

Now all you have to do is get it to handle like a Corvette.

That will get you more than a ported throttle body.

lol. **** the small stuff. for now im just going to probbably get a bugger cam and get my transmission built up and around the end of the year put the turbo on it. he said her could gaurantee that ill be in the 650-700 hsp by the time hes done with it or he would give me a huge didcount. i was just curous on the ported throttle body. a million little things add up also.

Remember, think twice, install cam once. If you're going turbo later get a cam designed to take advantage of that fact, that way you're not having to swap it out again later when you find the overlap is to high, or the intake duration is not enough.

i waas going to put a zo6 cam in but no i think im going to out the vrx3 cam by vengence in. just wondering....can anyone make turbo kits on here that would like to build me one. im looking for the cheapest deals. i know there are plenty of people witht the capability. just not something i can do. i dont need the turbo just the kit.

im not an expert on turbos and have never had one. but thats soon to change. i say that. ill prolly start collecting all the parts and resurching it and get my transmission built so by the end of the year i can just do it all at one time. just stockpile it all. im pretty pumped about it though. that gives me a few months to prepare to pay six or seven thoudand. quite a bit of cash.
