MAF maxed
How much boost can the maf handle before its maxed out? Im going to have to get a 2 bar map i know this, but when is the MAF no longer able to read air flow.

Awww ok gotcha 2 bar it is then. I knew i was going to have to run it. Wow i hope EFI has some good repository for me to look into. Thanks guys 18 days left

Isn't it something like 58 or 61 lbs/min that is maxes at? I can't remember. You can basically take the lbs/min and multiply by 10 to get flywheel hp. I used to max it on my old truck right before the shift at 5800rpm or so, Radix/7.5psi/headers/LQ9.

So should i just run the 2 bar right off for tuning purposes, ill be running the KB kit also just trying to get some hind sight so im not back tracking once i get it installed. Might even get a blackbeartune for intial start then go from there, and get some help from one of the guys on here that lives near by. You running a 2 bar thunder?

You really don't need to go to a 2 bar setup right off the bat. A MAF/1 bar tune can handle quite a bit of power even after the MAF is maxed out.
Also, with 2 bar you can't run the MAF from what I understand. It's some issue in the GM code evidently that doesn't play nice. I have seen the problem first hand on my new truck when I tried to go MAF/2bar.
