Its not the amount of boost, but the amount of air flow that will max it out. Mine maxes out at 4800 rpm. It will vary with engine size, head flow characteristics, cam design and many other variables.

512 g/s of airflow. FWIW, I was JUST under the limit with my old 6.0 and a Radix pushing 9 psi with a 216/224-115 cam, spinning to around 6000 RPM.

Isn't it something like 58 or 61 lbs/min that is maxes at? I can't remember. You can basically take the lbs/min and multiply by 10 to get flywheel hp. I used to max it on my old truck right before the shift at 5800rpm or so, Radix/7.5psi/headers/LQ9.

So should i just run the 2 bar right off for tuning purposes, ill be running the KB kit also just trying to get some hind sight so im not back tracking once i get it installed. Might even get a blackbeartune for intial start then go from there, and get some help from one of the guys on here that lives near by. You running a 2 bar thunder?

You really don't need to go to a 2 bar setup right off the bat. A MAF/1 bar tune can handle quite a bit of power even after the MAF is maxed out.

Also, with 2 bar you can't run the MAF from what I understand. It's some issue in the GM code evidently that doesn't play nice. I have seen the problem first hand on my new truck when I tried to go MAF/2bar.
