Thanks, I think it will be a fun ride, but in due time, For now though, there are a few of us that believe there is plenty of power left on the table with the current line. So Stay tuned

speartech. but it does not seem like it was for a truck, a conversion car...so it was easier to upgrade to the can-bus computer crap that the 03-06 dont have. BUT I can still hope,IMO GM not getting the 6 speed in the trucks is hurting them...tundra has one, new fords will have 6 speeds.

GM has 6 speeds in the trucks...............you just gotta buy one that is close to 6000 lbs to get it.

I know what you're saying though, it'd be nice to see them in a 1500 rcsb to.

Mine is 5730 without me with 4wd. Only problem about the current 1500's that have the 6speed is they have the really short bed.

They did an LS2/6L80E in an older truck IIRC, but they had to run two PCM's. The newer one controlled everything (I believe it was the E38 PCM) and the older one just ran the gauges in the cluster.

Would a TVS 1900 support a 9.6:1 CR forged 408?

Seems like a forged motor that size would be better off with a TVS2300...I could be wrong, but they put the TVS 2300 on the new ZR-1 Vette wich is a 6.2/376...

Default Compression

Blownchevy: Is there an optimal CR for the TVS 1900? I am getting ready to order my stroker kit and wanted to get some input. I also just learned that the 420 stroker kit is available, you stated that the 1900 can handle up to 800HP do you have any input on which stroker setup would be better? The truck will be a daily driver and I am at altitude (5000) ft.
