Excellent question, I wanted to know the same thing. How much is given up on the bottom end. The 112 on a 6.0 spooled up fast and made some great boost down low. Is the 1900 as good off idle as the 112 is?
Since I'm a bench racer, I was wondering how much stronger the pull was for the STS versus the 112 on the top end. Was it night and day stonger than the maggie or just a little. I'm trying to get as close to a SOTP impression as I can from someone who's driven it all.
Also are you running any detonation control on the 10# or 11# of boost? How much timing? Could you refresh me with what the compression ratio is on the motor?
Thanks for all the help!
Russ

SOTP tells me that the 1900 pulls EVERY bit as hard as the turbo (rear mount) did on my truck. I am not running anything special, this is a TVS1900 on a FORGED motor with 18* of total advance. We ran some logs yesterday and there is ALOT more on the table with tuning, the truck is a tick leaner than crash dummy likes to see.

On a side note, at the top of the pull in second gear we were seeing IAT's in the 115* range

This might be a good time to improve the I/C!

No need to improve what works perfectly on the TVS1900, should have said ONLY 115*. that is NOTHING for IAT's.

Agreed on the 115*, but I'd still like to see a bigger and better I/C so I didn't have to resort to meth...R/

Again, with the TVS the need for meth is not there.

So IAT's would probably be even less at the track while the truck is actually moving instead of sitting on a dyno?
