Will post the numbers as soon as I get them. All in all I like the instant boost and mine was hitting 7.5 lbs of boost on my first WOT. Will see what the dyno says. Here are some pics of the finished insall.

Thanks JJB. The kit was easy to understand and install I must say. I'm glad the spacer worked out, I did however had to hammer away at the firewall right at the back of the blower to install the heavy *** thing Boost comes on real quick too. Tried calling my tuner guy, but he doesn't answer his phone I want to drive this truck. Plus my boat is ready for its test run at the river, I also had it FI with a Whipple Yes FI is addicting what can I say

Well got my truck to the dyno guy and all is good The numbers are 320 hp and 340 ft lbs torque. Peak torque was at 2800 rpms right where I want it and making around 7.5 lbs of boost. I love it. A lot better numbers than the Procharger was making for me. I'm glad all was good. Still having a cold start issue. Put a mechanical gauge last night and pressured it up then turn it off and checked it this am and it was at 15 lbs. Losing pressure, thinking fuel pumps not holding and need a check valve in between. Not leaking any where outside so I'm thinking it's internal. Don't think it the injectors cause they are new. Process of elimination. Any ideas from you guys will be great.

Who does your tuning? I would have thought a 5.3 with 7.5lbs would put down more then 320/340.

It would if the power didn't have to go through a transfer case for 4 wheel drive and 35'' tall tires. This is also a stock 5.3 with only bolt on parts and no internals modification. Without the supercharger it was making only 220 hp to the wheels and to the flywheel it was at 285 hp. 2002 5.3L were pretty weak in the hp dept.

Those numbers sound low, anyway the blower gave you a 100hp gain so I'm sure it feels like a different truck now.

true, I think allen nelson or someone did a back to back dyno with 35's and with stock wheels, and there was a 100hp gain without 35's. Was the 220hp with the big tires? cuz thats about what they put down stock..

Yes, the 220hp was with the big tires, had it lifted and the tires put on brand new when I picked up the Tahoe new from the dealership.

Took the idea from another member here Supersub and liked the idea of keeping the heat from the engine or some of it away from the upper manifold where the intercooler is in the blower. I made it out of phenolic grade CE it is used as a heat insulation. Thats all.
