I think the velocity of air across the sensors changed greatly when I descreened it and installed the 4" intake. My readings at the time went from the 440's to the 370's (g/sec) with that change alone. I also need to run some logs and see where it is hitting and to see if it is maxed out already and where, I will keep all posted. I will be installing the 100mm MAF in the next week or two and will post up the changes.

What is happening on his setup is similiar to what some guys were doing adding resistors to the MAF to lower the reported airflow. I think Parish even tried this a while back. By reporting lower airflow values to the computer you can stay within the 512g/s limit, just have to adjust fuel/timing accordingly.

The 07 TrailBlazer SS uses the (2) low and high frequency table for the MAF where as the '06 and older trucks have the single MAF table. I am sure that this has something to do with it also.
