some updated info from Magnuson I found surfing:
"OK guys I don't like to post on here much because of the uneducated attacks I normally get when I do so and I really feel that manufactures should not even be on these forums but here is a little information that may help. 1. First of all CARB is good, if you can't make a car pass with the same emissions as the factory can you should get out of the after market business after all the whole test is about 5000.00 the price of one supercharger kit. I just took our 2007 Corvette to the emission lab last week with a MP122H on it and passed 80% cleaner then the standard and 40% cleaner then the baseline. All we are waiting for is for the Evap I/m to set and GM has not put the field service test into the operating system yet so we just have to wait for a few more drive cycles and it will be done. This EO will cover all 1997-2007 Gen 3 and Gen 4 cars with a MP112, MP112H, 122H and the upcoming TVS1900. The TVS 2300 will be a race only supercharger because because we chose not to use it in any kit because its just to much for any of our EO kits. The TVS 1900 will make more power then anyone needs on the street and it will be more then capable of blowing you block into little pieces. This year is a little tuff on me with 3 new ECM's, DOD, Cam timing, E85, The new manifold for the 6.2 cylinder head, Classic truck's, new truck's and a large not to be talked about project with a large EO company, Lack of time and test vehicles. The TVS line was introduced by Eaton shortly after the 112H and 122H superchargers adding a huge amount of work for Magnuson and with all the work in front of it it may be available as a tuner kit soon but could be up to a year away before any real complete kits are available. Think just less then a year ago all we had was the MP112 and now look MP112, MP112H, MP122H, TVS1900, TVS2300 just a year ago GM only had 4 truck engines now they have 11. As far as EO testing and Global warming, who really knows but I can tell you one thing there is a well known High flow air box company that cannot pass the EO test with there air box yet it passes with flying colors with the stock one so I guess that rules out some members thoughts on how such small items can affect emissions. Just here to shed a little information for you guys and the 122H will be Carb legal very shortly I hope within a few weeks, but you have to understand with our enormous work load this year things just are not moving as fast as we would like. We have sold around 400 LS2 GTO kits in the last 2 years and we thank you so much and we will continue to support you as much as possible but like I said the work load is overwhelming. With the new TVS1900 and 2300 on the way and for those of you that know how to read compressor maps you may want to visit Eaton's web site and take a look at those. Thanks and please be patient our existing and future GTO customers will be supported as always."
