Wow! I wish I would have known about those 4 months ago when I spliced mine in. What a PITA sitting on the core support and trying not to burn yourself and anything else in the engine bay with the soldering iron. I was about to the point of throwing **** after the 3rd time I forgot to put the shrink wrap on BEFORE I soldered the wire.

LOL, I was in Costco the other day and picked up one of those "as seen on TV" Coleman cold heat soldering pencils for just this occasion, hopefully it has enough power to do the job. I always find it easier to have another person present when soldering.

My bad guys... those pig tails are for the LS2 shorties. I'll do a little research and see if I can find out who made them and see if a MultecII variety can be had.

I do have a regular soldering gun, thought this would come in handy when I'm leaning over or in the engine bay
