Again, if you would like a smaller pulley....call and order it for 90.00. I always equate it to providing someone with enough rope.........

He did not say using the product would blow up a motor, he said that in testing 5-7 psi proved to be the most dependable on a stock motor and anything more than that could cause premature failure.
I am pretty sure he said you would blow it up

That us usually what I say, not that everyone is going to blow up their motor.....but 99% of the people that call are not equipped to calibrate the PCM properly for the added boost.

I have a 3.0 pulley for sale if you have any interest. I'm asking 85 shipped so it will save you $5 plus the shipping from Magnuson.

So I called Magnusson today and he told me that he wouldnt recommend pullying down on the 4.8 and 5.3l engines. Says the 6.0 would be a different story. Tells me guy there did it with his 5.3 and the thing went boom. Says maybe with new cam and headers. Thoughts? Wondering what difference headers make?
i agree with what everyone else is saying. if you pulley down, definitely re-tune, and don't go above 5-7 lbs of boost on a stock bottom end. it has been done before, successfully, but some engines can handle more than others. to err on the safe side, stick with what the manufacturer says
