Is that what causes the turbo to get hotter than usual? And perhaps undetified smoke coming off the engine? Because that's what happened after I connected the cold pipes.

do you have the passenger side valve cover vented, and your throttle body capped off?

No, everything is as it was when N/A besides cam stuff, LS9 gaskets, and head studs. Throttle has a hose that connects to the passengers cover right behind the oil fill neck.

that right there is where you probably have oil coming thru, pull the hose off and check it. then vent the valve cover, cap of the throttle body, and get an upgraded pcv/check valve for the driver side valve cover

Ok so leave the hose off? And by uncapping the TB are you referring to that green cap above it? How exactly do I vent the valve cover? And for that upgraded PCV, can it be found at any auto parts store? Sorry for all these questions lol

to vent the valve cover you can run a hose to your intake or just put a breather on it, cap the port where that hose runs to on your throttle body

Can I just leave my oil cap open an put a small filter on it? Do I also cover the port that connected from the TB to the valve cover?

And from what vehicle did you get your PCV valve from? Looked through your thread an didn't find the part #. So I went ahead and bought a stock one for now
