don't drive mine often so i don't give i **** about mpg really, but did check it just out of curiosity and see around 2mpg to the better. if you tuned and drive for milage i'm sure you could 4+ better w/turbo. theres a thread on turbo for milage on here if you do search.

Everyone is talking just highway, average out your whole tank of fuel and see what the diff. is.
Apples to oranges. I can get 19.5mpg or so. Can I average that? Hell NO.
At 55 mph level road I get 17.5
At 72 Mph Level road I get 15.7
City driving only, about 8-9
Average per tank, usually in the 11's
Granted I have allot going against me, 4:10 gears, 2800 stall, AWD, more wieght, more cubes etc. Just realize there is allot more involved then just someone saying so and so got x amount more mpg. I dont doubt a mild turbo setup can get equal to or slightly better highway mpg, however average fuel economy I bet will still be less.

That display is not that accurate, especially when you start changing stuff on your truck. I would go the turbo route but not necessarily with a "small" turbo. A 70mm Q-trim 1.0 a/r would be good because you could easily keep it out of boost. Once you hear the turbo whistle you will realize that your self control is not as good as you may have thought

Highway mine stayed about the same w/ the turbo on long trips that were all highway, around 18-18.5. Using a whole tank in town I get between 10-11, before it was 12-13. I average about 13 overall now, it used to be 14.
