Again, dependent on how much meth you run... For example a little 5gph nozzle on a 408 at 20psi is going to be like running E10 for fuel. Its not apples to apples.

I have the AEM meth kit, using the largest nozzle which is 550 cc/min (not sure what that converts to for gph) but I could only run 13* of timing safely, I screwed up the piston rings on 15*, while the others can run 19*+ on e85 with no problems

Not saying its the same, just seems like at least on the Inline 5 motor, e85 is the way to go. Other motors may like meth more, I'm not going to claim to know all that or even that my opinion is right

You need to run multiple nozzles to really start getting an octane benefit. For your purposes, e85 is a more user friendly way to go...

Turbo Inline 5 wasn't making enough power for multiple nozzles, which is why I'm swapping to a 4.8 with turbo now and will be running e85 and then just using the meth to cool the intake temps

If E85 is readily available, and you can stand the fuel mileage drop then I'd say it's probably a better fuel. What I like about 93+ meth is my truck runs around like a regular truck would burning gas I can get anywhere, then under heavy load cycles the meth picks up the slack of 93 octane fuel. Most of the time a gallon of meth will last me two or three tanks of fuel. You can't beat that for daily driver use in my opinion, but if max power at all times is the goal then E85 may be the best solution.
