Meth or Alcohol?
Snow Performance Stage 2 kit is on its way...I'm going to install the kit and get it dyno tuned with either meth or alcohol. I want to stick to one or the other. I've heard that meth is corrosive, but no evidence it hurts the blower or anything else. Seems like it would evaporate quick enough not to cause damage? Denatured alcohol is supposed to be less corosive, but less effective in preventing detonation, and less octane.
Anyone with a Radix have experience with this?

i just ordered a kit as well last friday and plan on doing the same thing...are you planning on running 50/50 meth/water or 100% meth

Meth is better if you're trying to raise octane. If you want to cool things off, mix it with water. I run a 50/50 mix with meth and water. Nothing wrong with denatured alcohol if it gets the job done, just know that Meth is about the best knock agent out there.

You can run more timing and make more power with straight meth. I would def invest in the variable controller. That little pressure switch on the stage 2 is crap. At least it was for me. Matt is a very cool guy and they stand behind their product. I am very pleased with their service. I had a pump go bad a few months after I got the kit and they overnighted me a new one without even seeing the old one..... just on my word. I thought that was very cool. I had some probs with the fitting leaking, but sealed them up with GOOP.

no problem I just wanted to make sure I ordered the right thing lol
I'm going to take a look at it and see what the best location is...I'm thinking that once I get it dialed in on the dyno I'll just leave it be, so I probably wont mess trying to put it inside, but then again that might be easier to tune with...hmm - where did you put yours?
