Default Meth/alky injection

WIth my IAT's reaching 205 now, I think it's time for something to get it under control. I read some posts where people were unhappy with the snowperformance meth kit, had problems with it leaking and such. They ere old posts though. Does anyone have any experience with a more recent kit from them? It looks like they had some new stuff come out in June.

I like the looks of the alkycontrol kit too, but its more expensive.

Also, the snowperformance kit that I am looking at is a MAF kit, how does that compare to the boost kits? I understand the difference between how they activate, but how much more accurate is one over the other?

OK i have talked to both snowperformance and alkycontrol, the guy at alkycontrol seemed much more knowledgeable than the guy at snowperformance. The guy at snowperformance didn't sound like he knew what Radix was, which concerns me slightly. I think I will be going with alkycontrol....what have you guys done for your tank? Use the windshield washer tank, or put in a different one.....how can I get the largest size?

Another option for you would be the FJO unit. I can send you the demo file if you would like to play with before puchasing a system.

The moderator Ryan K over on LS1Tech has a kit on his turbo car. I've talked to him at the track and he seems happy with it. I recommend shooting him a PM. I think he has the Snow kit.

NXRICKY - Can you PM me some info about that kit?

parish - Brian (I think) at snowperformance told me that the MAF kit would not work on 99-00 trucks because they use Hz but would work on 01 and up becuase they measure off voltage. Was he wrong?

CHarris - thanks for the info. I will PM him.

I've got the Snow MAF kit mostly installed on my truck, but the Variable Controller I got was messed up (cheap plastic dial broke off) and I've been waiting a couple of weeks now for the replacement. Guy on the phone last Thursday said "I'll ship it today." Called today (a week later), somebody else tells me "Oh, it hasn't shipped yet, we'll ship today and email you a tracking number." Guess what, so far no tracking number. I'll be calling again tomorrow.

So, can't tell you much about how the kit works. But, I will mention that you will probably need the solenoid. They claim you don't if the nozzle is mounted at or above the level of the tank. I installed the hardware, and the nozzle is at the same level as the tank, but...drip, drip, drip.

EDIT: Yes, the guy on the phone was wrong, because they include a MAF translator that converts the signal.
