I would do the later.

From what I have seen, it doesnt help that much with IATs going through a blower, but it does help greatly with detonation prevention.

I raised mine in the main timing tables and some adjusting in the afr timming tables and left my iat tables about stock which is pretty agressive. But below 80 or 90 (I'd have to look) degrees I zero'd it out until you get in the cold cold side then it's stock again. So at like 90degrees it pulls about 4 then 8 and ramps up from there. There are some adjustments in the afr table you can make to snag a ton of timming if lean also.

If you spray a **** load pre turbo, I imagine it would, and damage the compressor fins too, but a small amount I wouldn't think so. I would imagine the small amount sprayed would vaporize and not re condense. Read up on it, there is no evidence of puddling that I have found, unless you know of a thread out there that I don't... Everything I have read is nothing but positive, except for the people who got the more is better attitude.

Yeah, that is what started me looking into it...lol. I see where it could work, if you use a small nozzle.
