Default meth nozzle location?

going to start spraying meth to squeeze a little more out of the 4.8. got a devils own kit coming. should i spray before or after iat sensor? did't know if the meth/water would hurt the sensor.

anyone try running higher than 15# boost on a 2bar map? probably going to run 16-18 #.

Before the iat so computer sees the cold air and doesn't yank timing.

Before IAT sensor, assuming its not the sensor in the MAF.. If you don't spray before IAT it'll still climb high into the IAT retard table and pull timing unnecessarily. And foose04 runs a 2 bar over 15psi. References fuel pressure to calculate actual boost, iirc.

no MAF and planning to spray right after intercooler and move the iat closer to the tb.

Wouldn't put it too far away from the TB. You want it far enough away to get mixed real well with the air, but not so far that it all vaporizes. A homogenized, atomized methanol mixture is best.

Actually you want it 100% vaporized, but you want it to be 100% right when it reaches the intake, not any sooner. If its sooner it will be heated up by the intake tube. You want the coldest temperature when it reaches the cylinder.

heres where I put mine. Where im holding it is where it goes into the tb.

I said its goin to be, it isnt at the moment.
Mounting the W/A Intercooler between the water pump and electric fans. So total piping might be 20"?

Look at the last few post. you will see a setup similar.
