Thanks

What if you spray a 50/50 alcohol & water mix? Is it just as aggressive?
I can't get 100% meth where I live anyway but with the 110°+ summer temps it's the only way to add some timing.

Although I agree with you the old roots guys injecting methanol are in a different league then us tvs guys. They are either not coated or are hard anodized wich is not going to peel or flake off. After running them they fog the motor with say wd 40 to stop corrosion.

Blue Collar Performance in Michigan

If I wanted a turbo, I would have put one on.....but I don't.

The point of this thread is not a turbo vs. blower dick measuring contest. Rather to gather information on the effects of methanol...this is PT.net...not GMFS

Should meth be sprayed through a Magnacharger? What about other PD blowers?

I believe I already know the answer here, but I want your input(seriously). Cuz you're the expert & we are the fuckwads.

Not an expert, just the Biggest Fuckwad in here....
I would not recommend spraying a corrosive liquid through an aluminum supercharger that uses sealed bearings.

Other than that its fine.

There's a kick in the nuts... I'm interested in hearing about the issues with the defective coating

hey all i know this is kind of an old thread but i have a radix 112 on my 99 6.0 that i barely notice a difference in performance with a nelson tune due to the heat this thing produces. i cant even do one WOT pull without losing timing and boost to heat. talked to magnuson and they do not recommend any spray before the blower. bought mine used and the former owner sprayed water/meth. they say they spray removes the coating which will create more heat buildup. looking into either a turbo setup or tvs 2300 setup on my 6.0 with some other work to remedy this problem. id like to see over 500 hp from my LQ9 since i have to build the tranny anyway....anyone have any input on this? im really disappointed with my current setup.
