Methenol injection with air to water intercooler
I would like to know if anybody has used water/meth injection, between the blower and an air/water intercooler, for an additional intercooler affect? Pro's and con's would be appriciated.

I do. Have for a few weeks now. Run 100% Methanol. Pro's lower IAT's, Allows more timing and cooler denser air charge. Also boosts build just a tad quicker. Cons' so far. Added cost. Tuning AFR with it has been bit hard and still can't get it right in 3rd gear. I'm also stuck with having to carry methanol with me if I make long trips.

Would it be best to spray the meth/water into the IC or after the IC? I would think it best to spray after the IC and before the TB. One thing is you might have a problem of the meth/water pooling in the IC which might not be too good an idea.

I appreciate you guy's for joining in. My injector nozzles are mounted on the outside edge, of a 90 degree bend, just before the intercooler which is attached directly to my throttle body. I'd post up some pic's, but my files are too large.

hemidup, send me the pics and I will reduce them for posting.
I have the water/meth spraying after the i/c on the bent piping that goes to the tb. The nozzle is on the other side of the arrow in the pic so you can't see it.
