Hers some screenshots from the logs if anyone wants to give ideas for more performance.

I did notice the turbo is in full boost at around 3600-3700 Rpms. That's really close to when my cam lights off. Coincidence? Ve has been adjusted to fall in line with commanded. Didn't make a whole lot if difference.

Holy crap, 210*? I don't even consider getting into it if my ects are over 200.

I have also heard people say this before. My truck still has the stock thermostat in it. What is the reasoning behind the 200+ ects?

Log less stuff so your "ECM Used" is less than or equal to 24, that will make your sampling rate twice as fast.

Still a little fat, I would want around 10.8-11.2 in full boost for a safe setup.

Are you using a 3bar SD os? Why still log the maf? Notice how you max it out in boost?

Always heard that about the sampling rates, but never had it put into terms simple like that. I'll try to cut out some of the clutter on the scanner. Running 3 bar speed density, closed loop. No logic behind logging the maf. I just built that config from a previous one using it. Yea I did notice the maf tapping out

The sampling rate is a limitation of that generation of pcms, the e38s have like 4 times the bandwidth, which is why you see guys log 40+ things and get twice the frame rates. Oh well.

I log:
engine rpm
vehicle speed
tps
ignition timing
3bar map
iat
delivered trans torque
egr (for my wideband)
stftb1
stftb2
o2 volt b1
o2 volt b2
inj pulsewidth b1
cylinder airmass
equivalence ratio

And I have a couple others for just idle and just trans tuning.

Another little update.

Turned the shift points up to 5800 from 5500. It shifts anywhere from 5800-5900. This definitely made an improvement. This also helped my boost spikes. Still going to have to do some ve tuning, as my AFR error is still about 5-7% off. Its still on the rich side at about 10.7.

Top priority: Get a damn IAT sensor that works! I'm not going to push my luck yet, because I am unsure when this turbo becomes a heat pump. Although, I for see high iats at high rpms and low boost, which I feel is what this cam needs.

Options I can think of:

1.) Turn the boost up, and keep the Rpms south of 6k. Although, I feel this will still be leaving a lot on the table concerning my camshaft. Also concerned with boost spikes causing problems with higher base boost levels.

2.) Meth kit. Possibly becoming a band aid for the inefficiencies of my turbo/cam . Also, out of budget for a few weeks.

3.). Swap turbo. Out of budget for a few weeks.

4.). Swap cam. Also out of budget for a few weeks.

Well another update. Got my Iat sensor in and iats stay good through wot blasts. As atomic predicted, my compressor is tapped out at high Rpms and low boost. I've upped my shifts to 6200rpms And this thing is done at 5800. Next step is to add some boost I guess.

What a bummer . What are you going to turn it up to?
