Default modded LY5... thinking "Project Boost" maybe

So, I've been collecting parts over the past year...

TSP 224/228 Cam (.581/.588, 112LSA)
Thunder Racing DoD Delete Kit
AFR 210 Heads
Comp 1.7 Shaft Mount Roller Rockers
Kook's Long tubes (1 3/4") w/ off road y-pipe
K&N CAI
MSD Coils/Wires
Circle D 3200 Stall
Vette Servo
Trans Cooler

Unfortunately, I planned on bolting all this stuff in over my holiday leave, but just found out I've gotta deploy as soon as I get off leave. So, I'm gonna wait a little while longer.

My question... Would an SLP Performance 9000 (with a good tune of course) SLP Performance 90000 - SLP Performance EFI Supercharger Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com be too much for the stock bottom end?

I guess the only good thing about the deployment would be the money and the time to think about this. I'm open to all opinions and suggestions.

Thanks for the input.

With a good tune your motor will handle 10lbs without a problem. Question, did you take into consideration that you were going to supercharge your truck when you were collecting those other parts?

I did consider the possibility of a supercharger in the future and tried to gear my build toward being able to support the blower... if I ever actually got one. Now, I'm seriously considering it.

The cam specifically, works great N/A, but works even better boosted.

If you do pull the trigger on the SC I would choose a different cam to go with. Also, that stall converter will not be taking full advantage of the awesome low end torque produced by the tvs. If you are trying to do it cheap, the tvs 1900 will fit your needs as well.

What stall would you recommend? I havent installed this yet, so I could always exchange it. And why wouldn't the 3200 work well... to high of a stall/too low?

The reason I say that is because blowers start making power almost off idle. You should search around and find a proven cam/stall combo for your supercharger. But generally, most people go with a 2600-3000 with a tvs blower.
