Have you tried even putting your grill back on yet? Looks like your gonna have a LOT of trimming to do just to put in on. If you cut a lot off the back of the head lights bracket, you might be able to just fit piping though there. Nothing easy about putting a grill up there on the older trucks. There is a reason we put 27" intercoolers between the frame rails on 99-02 trucks.

Not of an upper grill mount. I've never done one up there. Mine are all in the lower bumper.

Sell that big *** IC and get the next size smaller, it goes right in the rails with out any cutting, should be good enough to support a bit of HP.

I'm considering going that route... have a 34" rad, but really want to run an IC behind grill with the shortest routing possible.

im gonna keep it the way ive got it now i figured out how to run the piping i just gotta cut up the headlight mounts some nothing serious and ill mount my trans cooler behind the bumper

thats the reason i wont the intercooler behind the grille least amount of piping
