Default mp t70 Turbo help

My issue is that I'm pushing oil though the rear seal of the turbo. I put about 50k on this turbo and didn't have any issue in till now. It started doing on my old motor be for it got pulled. I though maybe the turbo drain line got plugged. So when I put the new motor in I replaced the old line for a new drain line. After driving it for week it started doing it again. I'm running -8 drain line with -4 feed line and 0.060 n2o jet for restriction on the feed line. I’m also running 20/50 oil. I'm thinking need to step up -10 drain line but never add this issue in till now. Where do you get the -10 push lock fitting for the turbo side and -10 female to weld on the pan or maybe the turbo needs to be rebuilt. Let know what you guys think. Here some pic’s

Why don't you just use a check valve instead of the n20 jet?

Need more info on the check vavle. Won't a check valve block the oil flow. N20 jet just reduces the flow of oil to the turbo.

I made the same mistake... If you don't put a check valve in line with the feed line the oil all just drains to the turbo, then proceeds to burn it out. Once its cracked open, oil just flows freely.

So anyinfo on the check valve. So saying the turbo needs to be rebuilt. My understanding is doing n2o jet is the same as check valve but I would like to see more info on the check valve. Thanks.

Check valves are used on low mount stuff. Hi mount the turbo is the highest point in the oil system it will drain back down the psi line. Hi mount sometimes use restrictors. 60psi with a -4 line is a huge amount of oil. Looks like your drain line is level at you frame and maybe slighlt higher just after the frame acting like a p trap. Might need to reroute and might need a small jet with that size feed line.

I had a -10 drain that I made long enough to loop out and on top of the shock tower before going down towards the pan. Never had an issue and it was a smooth flow with no bellys in the line. Honestly though if your setup has worked for 50K miles with no issues until now Id lean more towards needing a new seal. And I'd run a smaller restrictor next time around. Summit should have all the fittings and hose to build your -10 drain.

journal bearing turbos shouldnt use a restrictor. -4 feed should be minimal feed and -10 should be minimal drain. theres some turbos out there that use a -6 feed with no restrictor

id be more along the lines of you got 50k out of a 600 dollar turbo. its past its life
