I just went out to my truck cause I had my Gatorade bottle in there. 3 3/4" @ base (widest point).
Well there ya go.

Yep, I swig down that Gatorade QT bottle of water every day at work.
If I lose my water bottle, I just buy another Gatorade.

Atomic, I'm gonna need to talk to ya 1 of these days.

I agree that does look great! Those welds look spectacular.

W/. a 4" hole, you're just puttin whole Gatorade bottles in there then? Cause I'd think they'd be pretty close to 4" at the base.

Way to think outside of the box.

I've seen the 1" lower than cap before comment. Is that to compensate for expansion, Roger? If for some reason this 1 leaks, will a fuel cell style cap be a direct fit or do ya gotta break out welder,...again?
I haven't started seriously shopping for the heat exhanger. It's likely to be a CTS-V or GMT900 piece from Magnacharger, but I'm looking around.

I figured that if he can build boats that don't sink, he could build my tank to hold water.

Yep, I'm gonna try the really thin plastic water bottles, GF got some at Wal-Mart. I think they were Nestle's brand, and 16 or 20 oz. Looks like 4 will fit in the tank with the water swirling around them. I think(maybe I'm wrong) that the thinner plastic will transfer heat better. We will see......eventually.....

Thanks buddy!

No, it doesn't expand & contract like the engine's cooling system. One inch below the cap with the water bottles(frozen) should keep it from splashing out too much if I open the cap with the pump running. Also allows me to check the flow of the pump.

Dude, few comments.
She's got great taste, ya, I'm a bit of a Colts fan. I still say they shoulda won.

Sweet cabinetry in kitchen. What the heck is that on top of the cabinets? My name on a Maple board? What gives?

Last, that last pic, that backdrop is truly breath-taking. I asked my bro if he'd go back to AK to visit just a few days ago? He said in a heartbeat.

Look closer at that pic. It's a cutting board that her son made for her a few years ago, with her name carved in it.

That last pic was taken at Homer. Alaska is a beautiful place to live. The terrain is rugged and the scenery is breathtaking. I visited here in 1989, and then moved here in 1991. If you ever have the chance to visit our great state, you should do it. Let me know ahead of time, maybe I can arrange a fishing trip or something.
