Default My new 408 D1sc combo

Well, most of you know my 5.3 lasted like 2 days with the D1sc pushing 12+lbs. of boost. So now its time for a new motor. Here is the new combo. Any comments and recomendations are welcome. Not sure if this is going to be enough fuel system. I was talking to one of the techs at MTI and he said that they put big inline pumps on returnless fuel systems. All I have ever seen on this site is that is a no no. Are we missing something here?

Iron 408 using new 6.0 block from GM.
Eagle crank and rods
JE SRP or Weisco pistons. 9.5:1 CR
MTI Stage 2r ls-1 heads
Either MTI or Cam Motion custom grind cam
Intake ?
Long tubes with dual 3" exhaust
60lb. Injectors
Kenny Bell Boost a Pump
Meth kit
built 4l60e
yank 3200 converter
cal-track bar
and some kind of tires

What do you think?

That will be your weak point with that kind of power as my trans is my weak point now. But im looking a Flt4l65e. Either that or and 80e. My 60e isnt happy anymore and likes to slip.

Yea, you will be making way too much power for your tranny I think...

why 9:5:1 ratio? You should go lower.

Since you seem to like to boost the out of your motor go with a lower CR 8.5:1 maybe.
What boost level do you plan to feed the 408? The same 4" pulley is going to make way less on a 408 vs. your 5.3

Personally I would stay with 9.5:1, the Procharger doesnt come on as early as a roots or twin screw. Need a little CR so you dont lose all of your low end.
